Umbodi integrates today with Google, GitHub, WordPress, IndexNow, Bing Webmaster Tools, five AI answer engines and your own API keys. It does not measure Microsoft Copilot. Planned means planned, with no date attached.
Every row below is true of the product today, and each live row is checked against the code that runs it, so this page cannot quietly claim more than the product does.
Live runs today. Bring your own key lets you use your own provider account. Hosted only runs in our service and is not in the licensed engine. Planned is not available yet.
| What | Status | How it connects | Who pays |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google search results | Live | A search-results provider queries Google for each keyword you track, and the position is stored with its date. | Your credits. With your own Serper key, on-demand checks cost 0 credits; scheduled runs use Umbodi’s key. |
| Google Search Console | Live | You authorise Google once and choose the property. Umbodi reads clicks and impressions and submits your sitemap. | Free — no credits. |
| GitHub | Live | A GitHub App you install on the repositories you choose. It opens pull requests; merging on its own is a separate switch, off by default. | Included in your plan. |
| IndexNow | Live | Changed URLs are sent to IndexNow, which shares them with Bing, Yandex and the other engines that take part. | Free — no credits. |
| AI answer engines: Perplexity, Anthropic, OpenAI, Gemini, Google AI Overview | Live · hosted only | Umbodi asks each engine your questions and checks whether the sources it used include your site. Google’s AI Overview is read through a second search-results provider. | Your credits. |
| MCP server | Live | A server for Claude and other MCP clients with seven tools — audit, site profile, rankings, competitors, content, status, and one that opens a pull request — all answered by Umbodi’s hosted API with your licence key. None of them can merge. | Your licence. |
| Anthropic, with your own key | Bring your own key | Add your key in your account. It is stored encrypted and used for on-demand analysis and content generation. | You pay Anthropic; those operations cost 0 credits. Scheduled runs use Umbodi’s key. |
| Serper, with your own key | Bring your own key | Add your key in your account. It is stored encrypted and used for on-demand rank and competitor checks. | You pay Serper; those operations cost 0 credits. Scheduled runs use Umbodi’s key. |
| Self-hosted engine | Licensed engine | The search half of Umbodi runs in your own infrastructure on your own provider keys. AI-answer checking and the pull-request write channel stay in the hosted service. | Your licence, plus your own provider costs. |
| WordPress | Live | Install the free Umbodi Connect plugin and paste a one-time code from Umbodi. Umbodi then publishes the titles, descriptions and structured data you approve, through Yoast SEO or Rank Math when you use one. Every request is signed, every overwritten value is backed up and can be rolled back, and changed pages are sent to IndexNow. No WordPress password is shared. | The plugin is free. Publishing is part of your Umbodi plan. |
| Bing Webmaster Tools, with your own key | Bring your own key | Add your Bing Webmaster Tools API key in your account. It is checked with Bing, stored encrypted, and used to read clicks, queries, inbound links and crawl issues for the sites verified in your Bing account. | Free: Bing charges nothing for this, and it costs 0 credits. |
| Microsoft Copilot citations | Planned | Not measured. Bing’s AI Performance report has no API, so there is nothing to query. Planned for when Microsoft offers one. | — |
Yes. Changed pages are announced to Bing through IndexNow for every site. Bing Webmaster data — clicks, queries and inbound links — is read for your site once you add your own Bing Webmaster Tools API key in your account.
No. Bing’s AI Performance report has no API, so there is nothing for Umbodi to query. It measures five other AI answer engines and says which ones it asked.
Yes, for Serper and Anthropic. Keys are stored encrypted, and on-demand operations that use them cost 0 credits. Scheduled runs still use Umbodi’s keys and your credits.
Run the audit first. The integrations worth connecting are the ones its findings point to.
